POKEMON

i know this is a game series and not a game but its pokemon so i gotta. my top teir favorites are heartgold/soulsilver, or/as, us/um, d/p/p and b/w/b2/w2. ive played it since litterally before i could read and its one of my forever special interests. if you wanna get into it and can play it for a non-rediculous price play hg/ss or one of the 3ds games :]

MINECRAFT

block game! i've been playing this game actually for forever (free weekend of 2010) and it is very near and dear to my heart. as a generation of people like me grow up and continue to innovate the game ive loved as a kid it just brings a smile to my face every time i get to play it with my friends. also enderman best mob

SONIC

sonic! one of the first video games i actually played as a kid was sonic 2, i have a love hate relationship with how they handle this series but its definitely one of my faves regardless. my personal favorite games to play are mania, adventure 2 and sonic 2 and my favorite sonic game story wise is 06 BESIDES THE HUMAN KISSING PART. also the comics are great too

UNDERTALE

im one of those kids who found undertale from lets play youtubers and ill tell you that little mentally ill me was Not ready for the emotions this game was about to make me feel. ik a lot of people think its cheesy and overdone but i really appreciate the concept of kindness and understanding and communication being the solution to hard problems. toby fox is cracked and every game he touches has a spark of magic in it and also mettaton sans and toriel are the best

DELTARUNE

see what i mean!! game isnt even out yet fully and its already one of my faves of all time. the character writing, storyline development, visual style, gameplay, music, everything has only gotten better as toby fox has expanded his skillset. i love all of the main cast And all of the side characters with my whole heart and i cant wait to see where it goes. also im bad at video games and have never beaten jevil lol

NIGHT IN THE WOODS

nitw is another game that came to me when i really needed it. i wasn't leaving my hometown but i was in a constant state of unsureness and transition and navigating relationships with friends and family, and now that im mae's age going to school in an entirely different part of the us it only resonates with me more. the song weird autumn from this soundtrack is one of my Me songs and i hold this game close to my heart :] play it if you can!

THE STANLEY PARABLE

Davey Wreden and William Pugh made something truly fantastic when they made the original Stanley Parable, and the Ultra Deluxe edition elevates it even further :] i cant say much about the game itself without spoiling it, but if you like a good narative driven choose your own adventure type experimental game, play the stanley parable asap
