heres a list of some of my favorite books! i love reading and am always happy to get any book recommenations!!
WARRIORS:
The Prophecies Begin
by Erin Hunter (collective pseudonym)
i picked warrior cats up from my schools library towards the end of middle school and had the course of my life changed forever. ok thats a bit dramatic, but i liked the first series enough to buy the entire box set! the warriors setting is just full of creative potential, and i still have a special place in my heart for all of the characters
MATILDA
by Roald Dahl
roald dahl was liike my Absolute Peak author up until i was like 15 years old, the bfg was my first dahl book (and it definitely captured my heart too) but as an autistic kid who loved reading and learning, matildas story felt very personal to me growing up and continues to give me comfort to this day :]
GOOSEBUMPS

some of my very first books growing up were the original Goosebumps because of the massive collection of them I had in my childhood closet. stories like The Werewolf of Fever Swamp, The Haunted Mask and Phantom of the Auditorium helped me to gain an early love of horror and id love to re-collect them all!

ok this isnt like a novel or a story or anything BUT as a tool for understanding art and animation and its history it is absolutely incredible and valuable and a joy to read!! i promise as someone currently going through art school for animation, all of the fundemental animation skills you would need to make something can be found here
